I’m confused… But what Derpy did today at the library was really interesting…
It seems that there is no “intelligence” or “cleverness”, we’re all clever about certain things and dumb about others.. I should try to study on this hypothesis.

HAHAHA oh Princess, you’re delightful…! Oh yes I really loved Canterlot unlike many ponies might think, I just seem to like Ponyville even more since, you know, everypony knows everypony and they’re all so helpful and cheerful and everything… Oh ! Yes, my studies are still my top priority, I’ve got everything I need in the library, I’m still learning about the Chaos Theory, it’s really interesting but you know, it’s hard to study correctly and almost impossible to come up with the right conclusions since there are little to no rules, like, when Discord was freed from his sleep, I realized a lot of my conclusions were not really true and so yeah it’s really hard, but I think I’ll just leave that study on idle for now so I can focus on other things, for instance I’ve always been so fascinated in astronomy, like, well, just like you, haha, and.. I already know the names and the distances of almost every star in sight and I’m currently working on a memory with all my own calculations about the influence the closest stars can have on unicorn magic and everything, so as I was saying I really like Canterlot especially for its architecture because it really mirrors the importance of the whole city in the study of the stars, the design is just perfect bla bla bla bla bla……..

Today I walked in the Everfree Forest to visit Zecora and ask her about a medicinal herb, but I took the wrong path and lost my way accidentally. When I realized it, I was already deep in the forest and I found a ghastly abandoned factory. I was afraid at first and walked back to the path.. But -something- made my curiosity grow stronger as I turned away from the old house… I didn’t feel threatened at all, and even if I couldn’t help the feeling that something was watching me, the inside of the factory wasn’t intimidating enough to beat my need of exploring. Strangely enough, the rooms looked like someone had been living here.. A young, and lonely soul, judging by the dolls, the old childish books and the clothes gathered at random… There was even food supplies. I probably only explored a quarter of the whole place, as I let my hooves guide me through the dark rooms, paying much more attention to the details in that treasure of curiosity, than to my own security. I was filled with the strangest impression of somehow being able to understand.. the person who lived here. And it made me less afraid to feel like I already knew her……..
I went down in the basement.. But there, it wasn’t as warm as the first floor. I grew afraid.. and I eventually left when I heard it.
It was breathing.
I don’t think I should ever go back there. I just don’t know..
